Farewell Dinner with Wai Kiong's Family. We had dinner at The Oaks in Neutral Bay. The restaurant has a nice ambience but I think it is overpriced.
This is how it works if you want to have a steak. Order your own meat at the counter. You will be given raw meat and BBQ yourself.
All main meals include a jacket potato, fresh salad, a bread roll and come with your choice of herb and garlic or anchovy, dijon and chilli butter
Rib Eye on the Bone $22. Angus Hereford, Grain Fed - Dry Aged, Gympie Reg QLD, 20 mths. $22 for raw meat without seasoning, isn't it ovepriced?
Atlantic Salmon $24. Raw salmon in aluminum foil and jacket potato.
Bread Roll and an empty bowl for salad.
BBQing our steak, salmon an jacket potatoes.
Instruction on the wall on How to cook the perfect steak.
Finally! Steak without seasoning. At the side there is a table with many different sauces like mustard, BBQ sauce, chili sauce. I added teriyaki sauce on my salmon.
Oyster Kilpatrick 1 dz $25.
We had 3 different kind of mussels. All mussels are served with frites & dijon mustard mayonnaise.
Mariniere Mussels $22. Cooked with vegetables in a tasty broth
Provencale Mussels $22. Cooked with tomatoes, herbs & garlic
White Wine Mussels $22. Cooked with vegetables and white wine
